The music for Obscuration was recorded in 2011 while working on Dolphin's LP Creature, and this is its dark musical side. The LP is the last in a trilogy. The first two were Soul Trees Soul Whales and Thermoplegia. Obscuration is the third and final.

This is my eclipse, my feeling of the loneliness of the Universe, my fears, my never-ending feeling of guilt.

The recording didn't see the light of day for 5 years, lost and forgotten on a hard drive. The impulse to continue work on the LP came from Michelangelo Antonioni's trilogy the Adventure, the Night, and the Eclipse.
